As a thermal barrier coating material, nano yttrium oxide can be applied to standard coatings and high-temperature anti-oxidation coatings for aircraft engine blades, such as aircraft engine components.

Nano-yttrium oxide can be added as a catalyst in the preparation process of aluminum nitride powder. During the sintering process of aluminum nitride substrate, nano-yttrium oxide can promote the densification sintering of aluminum nitride particles and improve the thermal conductivity of aluminum nitride substrate to a certain extent.
